Hilldale Homes is based in Paterson, NSW and services the entire Maitland and Lower Hunter region. We are a team of licensed builders, headed by principal builder James Callum, who brings over 20+ years of building and carpentry experience.
We have diverse experience working across a variety of projects, designs and budgets.

We have built everything from multimillion dollar homes on the North Shore of Sydney, to undertaking works on heritage projects that require significant restoration and remediation. James Callum and his team at Hilldale Homes transformed a basically derelict, rambling, 1910 sandstone homestead in the Bylong Valley for us.
Every skill was required to make ‘Wigelmar’ beautiful again. James knew where to find all the expert tradies including stonemasons to work on the old house. His attention to detail, in keeping with the era of the house was appreciated.
