James started his carpentry apprenticeship in 2007, working for a luxury award winning building services company on projects across Sydney’s north shore and eastern suburbs.
He develop his carpentry and building skills working under experienced tradesmen on projects spanning the family home (new builds, extensions, renovations) through to architectural feature homes (heritage, boutique, complex builds), and more.
After completing his Builders License, James start his own business. After several years of hard work, James has transitioned his one-man team into the company that is Hilldale Homes today.
James is a member of Housing Industry Australia (HIA). He is a community minded individual who is passionate about supporting Australian made products, local business and specialist trades.
In his spare time, you will find James spending time with his family camping and fishing, coaching local junior and senior rugby union teams at his beloved Maitland Blacks, or volunteering his time with the RFS.
